Pat and I both flew into Los Angeles to attend a Fan Meeting! One of our favorite actors, Jung Hae-In (Something in the Rain, DP, and others) is in the US and Canada doing shows in a few cities. As soon as I learned of the event I snapped up two tickets.
The fact that both of us have out-of-town guests arriving, Thanksgiving meals to prepare, and other 'sane' obligations did not factor into our decision to attend. We expect to be the seniors at tonight's event and actually have no clue what a Fan Meeting entails, but this may be our big chance. (Or at least my big chance; I'm practicing my Korean and trying to come up with clever things to say in case I actually speak with him.) ~ Judy
In all fairness to "Judy's Obsession" as I am now calling her love affair with Kdramas, I like the above mentioned guy pretty much but would rather see other actors at a Fan Meeting. Unfortunately they're not doing them in the US at this point. Give me a date with Cho Seung-woo, (Divorce Attorney Shin & Stranger) and I'll be just as driven as she is.
The above picture was snapped on our walk back from dinner last night. It's the marquee at the venue where we're going to glimpse this 30 something year old Korean actor. Stay tuned!
Judy has amazed me on this trip. She can read Korean, knows more about the social aspects of Korean culture than I ever will, and is a fountain of knowledge on Kpop.. When we went to breakfast, she...well, that's another story for another post. ~ Pat
He’s my favorite actor too. Loved Something in the Rain.
Wish I could have been there!
Jung-Hae-In has a great smile. Watch Something In The Rain & see if you don’t agree! I might have gone to see him too if I’d know, but then it might have interrupted my sister’s dream of attracting a young “hottie“!
