Korean actors have beautiful skin. Now, I cannot tell if that's a trick of the camera or if, in fact, they all have beautiful, fresh faces....but either way I love it. And, I love the fact that the MEN care about their faces like women. Several of the shows feature men having facials ~ even in groups! I'm pretty sure during Super Bowl Half Time you could get the men in your life to enjoy this beauty routine. Be sure to order supplies early so you're ready to go!
In the States I think we mainly use a cream type of skin care routine. In Kdramas they frequently show thin masks that are applied to the face. Check out this site for more info: https://www.facetory.com/pages/korean-sheet-mask-101
Nighttime routine for the ladies including slathering on a cream (moisturizer?) and then lightly slapping the face. I'm guessing that the force behind the slapping is a learned trait.
I think the other thing I notice in Kdramas vs US Shows is the lack of false eyelashes. As any American has noticed if they have been in public since 2021, the occurrence of very long, very dense, false eyelashes is now the norm. Personally, I find it refreshing that Korean actors seem to prefer a more natural look. But maybe that's because they are all super beautiful...
Haha, you know we could start slapping each other when we see each other to start a more interactive facial routine. 😂 Shall we add this to our Sunday grandparents domino finances routine?
Gee thanks. Now I'm looking more closely at my face and realizing I need plenty of help. Where to start??? Or maybe I'll save the facial money and travel more......or buy more quilt fabric, heehee.
Hi Judy, Yes I noticed the Korean actress' most beautiful skin. She is certainly a beauty. How about men and women do this routine for the Super Bowl?
Marg, have you used a Korean face mask? When Pat and I visit Korea this is a must-do for me... a facial and make-up session. I'm certain when done I'll look just like those stars; 25 years old and 100 lbs.
I do enjoy the masks and the way they moisturize my skin. I feel here in the Tucson desert, we need to do multi step skin care. Of course, it is big industry and expensive to buy the products. Funny to feel this way after not doing anything for decades....I wonder how facials differ between cultures...any from fellow bloggers?
