*or, as close as I am going to get to a celebrity here
Being a Kdrama fanatic, I follow noonasnoonchi. This Instagram notable is Jeanie Chang, a Korean American therapist who uses Kdramas in her work life, and she’s the real deal. She’s written a book, “How K-Dramas Can Transform Your Life,” and she is currently leading a tour in Korea. So, you ask, how do I know that? Well, I know that because I follow her, and I ran into her in Busan during my trip to Korea!
Actually, I didn’t run into her. I ran into her husband, who is also featured in her posts. I had just finished the world’s best ice cream (more on that in a later post), and was walking through Gamcheon Culture Village when he passed me. I asked him if he was married to Jeanie Chang, and when he said he was, the party started.
She travels with a videographer, and before I knew it, I was being recorded, with permission, of course. Even my husband got in on the action. Jeanie is lovely and gracious, and we had a five minute talk about Kdramas. It was, in short, a blast!
And to even make it better, she posted a picture of our meeting on her Instagram page today.
I know you’re wondering if I mentioned our blog. Of course I did. (I knew Judy would never forgive me if I didn’t.) Now let’s see if she follows US.
Pat is correct... I'd be upset if she didn't suggest following us. But I'm so jealous for this chance meeting. A gorgeous Korean actor would have been better but still... ~Judy
That's amazing! Good eye, Ma!
It's so amazing that Americans met by chance in a small Korean village!
You're sharp.
Love the picture and the Korean hearts ♥️
I just followed her! Thanks -- I'm so glad to know about her and her upcoming book and her tours.
