Some of you think I have no life outside of Kdramas. Au Contraire! I am also interested in quilting and recently went to the American Quilt Society's Annual Show in Paducah, Kentucky. Three of my quilting friends and I attended this year's show and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. For those of you who are out of the loop, Paducah is also the home of the National Quilt Museum and is considered an important Bucket List item for quilters.
I've included a few photos of quilts...some from the show and others from the Quilt Museum. Needless to say these are fabulous quilts; zoom in to see the details!
Velda Newman's quilt from the National Quilt Museum... I'm in awe! (no clue who the ladies are but they show the scale of Velda's work.)
Janet Stone's entry in the 2023 American Quilt Show in Paducah Kentucky. Check out the detailing on her spectacular quilt!
This is a 'Miniature' Quilt by Robin Gousebeck in the National Quilt Museum. Minis are incredibly difficult to make & this quilt is fabulous!
AQS Quilt Show 2023 entry by Andrea Brokenshire. Quilting doesn't have to be old-fashioned and frumpy!
Hi Judy, What a really pretty, interesting collection of amazing quilts! I love Velda Newman's
Spectacular! I enjoy yours, Judy. They, too, are art. Plus I know the artist!
As one of the 4 quilting friends who went to Paducah I will attest to Judy having a life outside Kdramas, though we did spend a good part of our evenings discussing them. I guess we need to find out if the Koreans are quilters so Judy's interests can merge. Or maybe not.....
