Indelible image

I suppose all of us have favorite images or scenes from movies and television. I think one of my all-time favorite image is the 'Grasp' from 'Mr Sunshine.' In this scene Yoo Yeun-seok is helping Kim Tae-ri pick up items from the floor when his hand brushes against her silk skirt. The director focuses in and switches to slow motion; the viewer is immersed in an image that evokes heartbreak, yearning, and sensuality. An unbelievably effective scene that provides the viewer with a glimpse inside his mind. My heart is fluttering!

Well, that's not where my heart fluttered. I'm going to have to see if I can narrow down the fluttering heart to just one pivotal scene. To be continued... ~Pat
