If you follow our blog consistently, you know that Judy used Ms. Song Lee for all her travel arrangements on her recent trip to Korea. I had the luck to meet her when I was in Korea in April. During our very short encounter, she gave me two lovely presents, a set of hangers to dry persimmons and some Korean snacks. The snacks were in the most beautiful package, and I spent the rest of my free time there trying to find the fabric and bands needed to copy what she’d done.
Here is the follow-up:

I never could make the persimmon hangers work how they were supposed to even after watching a YouTube video for extra advice. I finally resorted to hanging them the way I did last year. Apologies to you, Song!
I looked high and low for the kind of fabric Song used and never found it. I gave up until a good friend found some juggling scarves online that fit the bill. When they arrived, I wrapped her a thank you package just the way Song had. (I had taken a video of Song unwrapping and rewrapping the package so I knew hat to do when I tried it myself.)
So, Song, if you are reading this, all the thoughtful and lovely gifts you gave me last April have not been forgotten. I now wrap gifts just the way you did, and my persimmons are happily drying on a laundry rack. Now if I could just get my persimmons to taste like yours! ~ Pat
Of course Song's reading this! She is a Gmama after all..... ~ Judy

Did the dried persimmons well?
The packaging is also very pretty.
I have two persimmon trees in my garden, but I couldn't make dried persimmons.
Since the soft persimmons were so delicious.
would love to see a photo of the wrapped gifts--either yours or Ms Lee
