Bad Haircuts*

*not to be confused with bad hair days

Park Seo-joon of Itaewon Class fame with a decent haircut.

I recently finished Itaewon Class starring Park Seo-joon and Kim Da-mi among others. Park is a good looking dude but you really wouldn’t know it from this Kdrama. In my opinion he has the absolute worst hairdo I’ve ever seen on a lead actor. It’s so bad, in fact, that it influenced a certain someone* to state that he wasn’t one of her favorites. I know for a fact that her perception of him was completely colored by his hair.

Does this make her assessment of him seem a bit shallow? YES!! His acting was right on, and I’d even admit his haircut did a decent job of lending a certain aura to his character. He was supposed to be a screw up and a bit of a principled loser, and his haircut exemplified that.

That being said, though, his “do” still gets the top prize in the “too bad to be real” category.
