My trip is just about over, and it’s Gong Yoo’s and Junho’s last chance to meet me. I’m in the airport and ready to fly home. I’m hoping they realize they had better materialize in the next few hours or it’s game over.
All kidding aside, this has been a wonderful experience. I have taken hundreds of videos and photos, travelled all over the country and even visited Jeju Island, eaten every kind of Korean food possible, shopped a bit, learned about the complicated history of Korea and its connection to China, India, and Japan, and met some nice people on my tour. Speaking of
nice; Koreans are such lovely, kind people. Included here is a photo of the young man who made me a decaf latte everyday in Seoul, a senior citizen who wanted to show his special cap, our wonderful tour guide, a Buddhist monk, the owner of the cooking school (being photobombed by my sister), the Korean chef who made us the best western lunch ever, two women from the Busan fish market…I could go on and on, but you get the picture.
And speaking of pictures, the big disconnect for me was the fantasy world of Kdramas and the real life of Korea. Nowhere did I see the drop dead gorgeous people who star in Kdramas, and believe me, I looked! I guess that’s what makes Kdramas so tantalizing. I’ll keep watching, and Judy and I will keep posting. You can count on it.
So good to see you today and to hear more about your trip. Such good memories you’ll have 😊. Thanks for taking us along with you. We’ve enjoyed it❤️
Having your posts has been so wonderful, Pat. Great job.

Now I definitely want to go to Korea. Your photos are wonderful!
Love these photos and I’ve loved your accounts! Hurry up, Gong Yoo! (This is Barbara, just having trouble logging in on my iPad.)
